A.D is a pop art painter and sculptor out of New York City. Born in the 80's on Long Island, NY. A.D developed a passion for drawing at an early age, learning the basics of cartoon sketching from his grandfather and from the likes of popular culture surrounding him, such as Walt Disney and Dr. Seuss. A.D is a self taught artist with inspirations from Keith Haring and Jackson Pollack. Back in grade school just after winning the young artists award, he was kicked out of studio art. Distancing himself from the artist within. A.D hid his work from the world…until now. Finding his balance between work and passion, the artist within could no longer be silenced. Every artist finds escape in their work, A.D is no different. The vivid colors and imaginative subjects jump off the canvas, running away from the dull and dreary.
